I'm finally home from Illinois and a bit disappointed having taken 36 hours to run 100 miles. Now I know 100 miles is 100 Miles.. and I'm certainly proud of that, but I am disappointed I didn't make it to the 150 mark and stopped short.
I'm working on a race report which should be up in the next day or so for your enjoyment.
In the mean time, I continue to care for some bad blisters and my soon to fall off big toe nail on my right foot. Licking wounds is always so much fun.
Stay tuned!

"100 miles is 100 Miles.." Exactly. Recover well!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to "interview" you on my blog to ask questions about VT100. Interested?
Sure thing... just send me an e-mail to: Sherpajohn@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 100 miles, but sorry to hear about 150. Don't beat yourself up too much. Use it as motivation to kick some ass next time. I know a thing or two about DNFs - Not much fun until you put it to rest next year.
