Sherpa's Christmas List

Everyone wants to know what I want for Christmas so I figure why not share with all of you what I'll be asking for this year. The trick is to get the family to communicate so that I don't get double gifts! ; ) Here it is...

Refill My Race Supplies!
Dirty Girl Gaiters: $13/pair
I've had the same two pairs of Dirty Girls since 2006 and its time to replace the worn and haggard pieces of ankle protecting heaven. My old pairs are rusty and worn. Soiled forever, some of the stitching is coming undone and its just time for a change. I'm diggin' the following patterns (in no particular order): Hottie, runners high, racey, no bad days, TropiXy

S-Caps!: $10.50/bottle

I go through these things like they're candy... because during a race.. well.. they kind of are candy. I could use a bottle or two. S! Caps provide all of the major blood plasma electrolytes that other formulations are missing [ sodium, potassium, chloride, bicarbonate, and phosphate ]. S! Caps contain ONLY electrolytes with no fillers or vitamins that aren't really needed in an electrolyte formulation.

Clip2!: $17.95/box
Optimal race fuel. I never have enough of this stuff. You can buy it by the case for $96.00 as well. Not sure I can store that much of it.. but I'd love a box or 2 for the upcoming season. CLIP2 comes in pre-packaged, single-serving packets designed for use with the common 20 ounce bottles for ultra packs. Bags of CLIP 2 can be carried in pockets or a pack, or put in drop bags along your route. Unlike packets of gel, these are easy to carry with you after opening. Each packet supplies 152 calories.

PowerGels (Vanilla or Straw/Banana): $27.99/Box of 24
You could never buy me enough boxes of PowerGels, this is my go to source of energy during races and I go through at least 500 packets of gel per year. 4 cases would send me to heaven for sure!

The Distance of Truth: $19.95

Brand spanking new ultra-marathon documentary discussing The Badwater 135. A must have for any ultra-running fan!

Ultramarathon Man: 50-50-50: $49.99

The DVD will be released nationwide on February 10th 2009.For fans who can't wait until February, Journeyfilm is offering a special early fan-release gift pack shipping in December of 2008 with pre-sales beginning Saturday, November 15th. The inspirational film UltraMarathon Man: 50 Marathons • 50 States • 50 Days, features renowned endurance athlete and best selling author Dean Karnazes, in his attempt to run 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 consecutive days to raise awareness for youth obesity and to get America active. A beautiful and epic journey across the United States, during which Dean pushes the limits of human endurance, inspiring thousands across the country to join him along the path while uniting people of all ages and abilities to take "the next step."

Spirit Of The Marathon: $26.20
Spirit of the Marathon is the first ever non-fiction feature film to capture the drama and essence of the famed 26.2 mile running event. Filmed on four continents, the movie brings together a diverse cast of amateur athletes and marathon luminaries.

Robot Chicken Season 3: $26.99
Seriously funny show.
